I used to love gross point for the same reason. It was so relaxing. We all need some way to move into a quiet place for a while. Each time you look at this piece of art you might remember the journey it took you on-- Each chain stitch you embroidered connecting you with the art itself.

It's gorgeous...it seems to have a life of its own! Love it.
