hacia tiempo que no ibamos al rancho asi que, con noticias que luego lloveria, partimos en grupo a revisar los naranjos y las mandarinas y de pasadita a compartir con la familia mexicana que cuida el rancho de los vecinos.  ellos, a diferencia nuestra, no tienen frutales pero si caballos y vacas y toros y un burro de lo mas encantador. 

se siente uno tan libre por ahi y le viene a una una sensacion de estarse perdiendo cosas invaluables al vivir mas apegada a lo central.  siempre me ha gustado la idea de ser una amazona, recorriendo mi rancho a caballo, en jeans, polera blanca, botas de vaquero y mi sombrero a lo australian outback.  y es que me encanta el campo, desde chica. me puedo pasar horas recogiendo hojas secas y piedras, oliendo los arboles, mirando el cielo.

muchas veces hemos pensado en irnos a vivir al rancho,

siempre un pero u otro.

y que mas rico que ensuciarse las manos comiendose un asado al aire libre

nos quedamos hasta la puesta de sol

y hoy llueve tal como predicho y se abriga uno y la casa acoge.

como estara el rancho hoy? como estara de bello cuando vuelva a salir el sol, barro y todo?  dicen que hay fosiles enterrados por alla asi que apenas escampe me voy a practicar mi afan arqueologico.
que opinan ustedes?  vivir en el campo y venir de vez en cuando a la cuidad, o vivir en la cuidad e ir de vez en cuando al campo?

es el ciclo de relexion y limpieza de la naturaleza

we have booked passage to Uvita, Costa Rica for Thanksgiving and will stay with family and friends for 5 days and then travel the following five.  when i return though, i have to jump on a plane right away to go to chile, something i am really not looking forward too in spite of it being summer there in december.  the previous trip really left deep scars from which i have not quite recovered and i will be there mainly for more and more piles of paperwork and bureaucracy but be what it may, i have to do it.  to lighten the load, i have decided to rent a small furnished apartment since mom's no longer is habitable after the pending sale and will try to hook up with cecilia and paty and patty and rebeca as much as i can to take my mind off  all the work up ahead.

in the interim, camarillo has welcomed the rains and the colors of autumn which i have wirnessed first hand by driving around the farms closeby and taking photos
