One of my favorite Prayers

I arise today, Through the strength of heaven: Light of the sun, radiance of the moon. Splendor of fire, speed of lightning, Swiftness of wind, depth of sea, Stability of earth and firmness of rock. I arise today, Through God's strength to pilot me: God's might to uphold me, God's wisdom to guide me, God's eye to look before me, God's ear to hear me, God's word to speak for me, God's hand to guard me, God's way to lie before me, God's shield to protect me. From the snares of devils, from temptation of vices, From everyone who shall wish me ill, Afar and near, alone and in a multitude St. Patrick

This is me not too long ago picking wildflowers on a windy hill in Ventura.
And a favorite black and white my husband took of my son Christopher and I in the Monterrey Peninsula back in the 80's. Christopher passed away at five years old in a tragic airplane accident in Chile with my father-in-law.

Lest we Forget

Put together another mini quilt in honor of the Red, White & Blue. These are the colors of both of my flags (America and Chile), primary colors symbolizing pretty much the same things.

Cambia, Todo Cambia

I am once again shedding my skin and from a soliloquy with my inner center, I have emerged with new creative forces. Simply said, I have returned to where the circle always takes me.....to my truth which is working with my hands and spreading as much light as I can through my creations. I have learned so much from other bloggers and seen the beauty of the souls that float out there; without them I probably would have remained in a creative rut. Inspiration is a gift from the outside world; the inner world just interprets it. SO HERE'S I BE STARTING A BLOG TO KEEP A RECORD OF ALL MY MEANDERINGS.

Yesterday and day before, I pulled out my fabric scraps and sat on the living room carpet (must be close to the Earth) watching TCM and some PBS documentaries and sewed up the hues of my transmutation into a quilt.
